animal rescue is
one filled with
a variety of
experiences.
Sometimes it is
heart-rending
when we first
encounter
animals who are
sick, neglected
or abused.
Sometimes we
empathize with
those owners who
have to
relinquish a pet
they can no
longer keep.
Yet another
aspect of a
rescuers’
experience comes
from unclaimed
animals at
shelters and
pounds.
But there is a
special feeling
that comes with
being able to
comfort, heal
and ultimately
find loving
homes for these
animals.
We have come to
know and value
many wonderful
people whose
kindness and
caring for the
animals have
transformed
their stories
from tragedy to
triumph.
It is a
privilege to
share some of
the journeys of
these animals,
their new
families and
forever homes.
