AFRP'S LIFE LINK
TRANSPORT
PROGRAM
|
Helping
Loads of At-Risk
Dogs Get a
Second Chance
|
|
|
In
2008, over 1,160
local shelter dogs
got a second chance
at a lifetime of
love thanks to
AFRP's
innovative
Life Link Transport
Program.
This is in addition
to the dogs we were
able to take into
our own adoption
program.
Every week, at-risk
dogs from
overcrowded shelters
are transported to
safety at animal
welfare
organizations that
are eagerly awaiting
them. Healthy,
adoptable dogs that
would have been
euthanized due to
space restrictions
are given the
opportunity to find
forever, loving
homes.Addendum

We are proud to be a
part of the success
story with our
donation to help
outfit their new van
with air
conditioning. We
were able to make
this donation with
the generosity of
your donations to
us! Thank you! |

Here is a "delivery"
of a Japanese Chin
that was rescued
from a shelter in
the East Bay today.
In the two short
months since they've
purchased the van,
Life Link
has already been
able to save over
700, yes,
Seven Hundred
dogs.
The addition of the
air conditioning
that we helped to
purchase has been
instrumental in
making this happen! |
